Livonia woman claims Club Keno prize!

LANSING, July 16, 2009 – LaDawn Birmingham almost passed out when she saw her Club Keno numbers appear on the monitor. The Livonia woman bet $5 a multiple draw and played a 6-spot game. She matched six of six numbers and bet the Kicker, which came up a 5X multiplier and also matched five of six numbers with a 5X multiplier to win a $22,285 prize!

Birmingham hid the winning ticket in a jewelry box before cashing it at the Lottery’s Dearborn Heights office. She plans to invest the prize money.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Trumpps, 21413 W. Eight Mile, in Detroit.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins. The Kicker option allows players to multiply their winnings by up to 10 times!
