LANSING, July 23, 2009 – After matching all five Fantasy 5 numbers on July 17, an anonymous Lottery player has claimed a $131,984 prize.

The winning easy-pick ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, 27630 Little Mack Ave., in St. Clair Shores.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2008, the contribution to schools was over $740.7 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
