LANSING, April 29, 2009 – A winning Fantasy 5 ticket worth $110,400 has been claimed! An anonymous Benton Harbor woman claimed the prize at Lottery Central after she matched all five numbers on April 8. She also matched four of five numbers four different times on the same ticket.

The regular Lottery player chose her own numbers and told Lottery officials that it was “personal!” She has no immediate plans for the prize money.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at C & C Bus Transportation, 2412 S. M139 , in Benton Harbor.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2008, the contribution to schools was over $740.7 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
