LANSING, February 23, 2009 – An anonymous long-time Lottery player was excited when she realized her January 24 Fantasy 5 ticket was worth a whopping $110,000!

The winning easy-pick ticket was purchased at Meijer #30, 2777 Airport Rd., in Jackson.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers.
