LANSING, April 8, 2008 – David Zink of Oxford was a very lucky winner! He cashed in when he matched all five white balls in the February 19 Mega Millions drawing.
Zink’s win was worth a cool $250,000! He hid the ticket in a fire proof safe before claiming his prize and plans to use the money to pay bills.
The lucky easy pick ticket was purchased at Indianwood Junction Party Store, 20 N. Baldwin Rd., in Lake Orion.
Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
