Super Raffle winner payouts continue

LANSING, April 2, 2007 – Four more Super Raffle winners claimed prizes at Lottery headquarters in Lansing today.

The Dental Lotto Club claimed $100,000 prize on a ticket sold at the Hatchery Road Market in Waterford. Also claiming $100,000 was an anonymous winner who purchased the lucky ticket at Meijer in Jackson.

The Speedy Q Market in Bay City sold a winning $100,000 Super Raffle ticket to a lucky Saginaw player. The winner learned of his good fortune on the Lottery’s Web site. A fourth $100,000 prize, on a ticket sold at Cottonwood Express in Jenison, was also claimed by an anonymous winner.

One of two $2 million prizes and six $100,000 prizes were claimed Monday and Tuesday.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
