LANSING, March 31, 2008 – Fred Allos won five different times on a Club Keno ticket and won a whopping $50,049!
The Rochester Hills bar owner played the Kicker option on his ticket and matched zero two times, five, six, and nine on his 10-spot ticket to win the prize.
Allos is a regular Lottery player who plans on using the prize money to expand his bar. He enjoys playing Club Keno and darts when he’s not busy working.
The lucky winner purchased the winning own-pick ticket at his bar, Auburn Sports Bar & Grill, 46858 Dequindre, in Shelby Twp.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
