LANSING, March 28, 2008 -A lucky Detroit woman “went crazy” when she found out her Mega Millions ticket was worth $250,000. She matched all five white ball numbers in the March 14 drawing.
Latasha Crittendon plans to use the money from her easy pick win to pay off her home and save for her children. She has been playing the Lottery for a few years and this is her largest win to date.
The lucky ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven 26508, 29331 Warren Rd., in Garden City.
Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
