Man wins "cash"

LANSING, March 19, 2008 – With a last name like cash, you have to be lucky! Andrew Cash won $10,000 after he matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number in the March 7 Mega Millions drawing!

The Ann Arbor man hid the ticket in an envelope prior to cashing it at the Lottery’s Dearborn Height office. He plans to pay bills with the prize money.

The lucky winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Wolverine Party Store, 2527 Dexter Rd., in Ann Arbor.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
