Lottery to select finalists for $500,000 drawing

LANSING, December 6, 2007 – Treasure Tree, one of the Michigan Lottery’s newest Instant tickets, means it’s time to start celebrating the holiday season!

Treasure Tree has two top prizes of $500,000. While one will be awarded to a lucky player who scratches the winning ticket, the other will be given away in a live, second chance drawing on January 15, 2008 at The Palace of Auburn Hills during halftime of the Detroit Pistons – Toronto Raptors game.

To enter the drawing for the $500,000, just mail one non-winning Treasure Tree ticket to the address on the ticket by the January 2, 2008 deadline. Players are also able to enter their non-winning ticket on the Lottery’s Player City Web site, www.playercity.net.

The five lucky finalists who will participate in the $500,000 drawing will be selected by the Michigan Lottery on January 4, 2008. Finalists will be notified by phone that day and also by mail.
