LANSING, November 16, 2007 – A very lucky woman claimed the top $35,000 prize on the Lottery’s Double Triple Cashword instant game.
The anonymous winner didn’t believe her good fortune and had to recount the number of winning words over and over! She plans to pay bills with her prize money.
The winning ticket was purchased at Wesco #45, 128 W. Washington St., in Greenville.
Double Triple Bingo is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
