LANSING, November 15, 2007 – A very lucky man won a whopping $10,000 after scratching a winning $40,000,000 Spectacular instant ticket.

Edward Mandich purchased the winning ticket at Meijer #68, 37201 Warren Rd., in Westland.

$40,000,000 Spectacular is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
