LANSING, November 15, 2007 – A lucky anonymous woman scratched her way to the top $300,000 prize on the Lottery’s Super Red Hot Cashword instant ticket. This was the first $5 ticket the semi-regular Lottery player has ever purchased!
The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, learned of her good fortune and “jumped up and down” in disbelief! She has lots of plans with her prize money, which include paying bills, her house off and college.
The winning ticket was purchased at Kihn Party Store, 5490 Griswold Rd., in Kimball.
Super Red Hot Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
