LANSING, October 30, 2007 – A first time Club Keno player matched eight of eight numbers to win a whopping $10,000 prize!

Carol Burnett-Russell told Lottery officials that she had never played the Lottery prior to her big win.

The lucky winning own pick ticket was purchased at Cocktailz, 1001 Chicago Dr SW, in Wyoming.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
