Winner taking trip with prize money

LANSING, October 29, 2007 – Dolores Ptaszek told Lottery officials that she’s “going to Disney World” with her $10,000 prize from the Mega Millions game.  Ptaszek matched four white balls and the gold ball on Oct. 19 to win the prize.

The Sterling Heights woman hid her easy pick winning ticket under her bed prior to cashing it in at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office.

Ptaszek purchased her lucky winning ticket at Meijer #145, 34835 Utica Rd., in Fraser.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
