Farmington Hills winner claims cash

LANSING, October 18, 2007 – It was an instant win for one lucky Lottery player!  He scratched a Cashword ticket worth $35,000!

The lucky winner, who said he was “in shock”, chose to remain anonymous.  He plans to use the money to pay for a new kitchen floor.

He enjoys playing poker and games on the internet in his spare time.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sevan Petroleum, 29434 Orchard Lake Rd., in Farmington.

Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
