LANSING, September 26, 2007 – A very lucky man scratched his way to the top remaining $1 million prize on the $1,000,000 Lucky Stars instant game.

The man, who opted to remain anonymous, purchased the lucky winning ticket at Borders Corner Store, 7024 E. Pickard Rd., in Mt. Pleasant.

$1,000,000 Lucky Stars is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
