18-year-old claims $10,000

LANSING, September 25, 2007 – A very lucky winner has claimed $10,000 after scratching a winning $10,000,000 Game Book Instant ticket.

Andrew Reinhardt had to ask his dad to double check his ticket before he believed it was a big winner.  He plans to use the prize money for college.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mejier #177, 8401 26 Mile Rd., in Washington.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
