LANSING, September 24, 2007 – The lucky winner of $1,000 a week for life was in disbelief when he scratched a winning Set for Life Instant ticket.  “This can’t be”, was all he could muster.

Glenn Miller of Oakland County claimed his big prize at Lottery Central and chose a onetime payment of $750,000 in lieu of annual payments.

The winner said he won’t make too many big purchases right away, just a new car and a new camera.  He is an avid player who enjoys playing Instant games.

The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven 21124, 4623 Crooks Rd., in Royal Oak.

Set for Life is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
