LANSING, September 14, 2007 – Two-Line Bingo proved lucky for one Leipsic, Ohio couple! The scratched their way to the top $22,000 prize!
Melba Navarro, and her husband Antonio, said that every time they come to Michigan, each get an Instant ticket. This time they picked a big winner!
The couple plan on paying bills and taking a vacation with their prize money. In their free time, they enjoy fishing, playing bingo and reading.
The winning ticket was purchased at Meijer #24, 6200 S. Pennsylvania Ave., in Lansing.
Two-Line Bingo is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
