$10,000 Mega Millions prize claimed

LANSING, September 14, 2007 – A lucky Ypsilanti woman won $10,000 after only playing the Lottery for two days!  Erica Goble’s Mega Millions win came two days after her 18th birthday.

The very lucky woman told Lottery officials that she was shocked to find out she matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number in the Aug. 31 drawing to win the prize.

Goble plans to save the prize money for college.  She enjoys scrapbooking in her free time.

The lucky winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Carry Dairy, 979 Ecorse Rd., in Ypsilanti.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
