Macomb man wins $10,000

LANSING, September 11, 2007 – Ronald Mastalski is a very lucky regular Lottery player!  The Macomb man won a $10,000 Mega Millions prize after he matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number!

Mastalski checked his own pick numbers on the Lottery’s Web site and discovered his win.  The 64-year-old retiree has no immediate plans for his prize money.

The winning ticket was purchased at BB’s Liquor, 21790 23 Mile Rd., in Macomb.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
