LANSING, September 11, 2007 – When Lauren McCall scratched her $1,000,000 Lucky Stars instant ticket, she was excited to find out it was a $10,000 winner!

The regular player, a Lake Orion resident, plans on buying a car with her prize money.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her child.

The winning ticket was purchased at John’s Party Store, 4009 Livernois Rd., in Troy.

$1,000,000 Lucky Stars is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
