Roseville winner claims prize

LANSING, September 5, 2007 – Gloria Giordano won big when she claimed a $10,000 Mega Millions prize.

The lucky lady matched four white balls and the Mega ball in the August 24 Mega Millions drawing.  She was “ecstatic” with the win.

Giordano plans to save her prize money and enjoys cooking and crocheting in her spare time.

The winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Kroger #663, 26130 Gratiot Ave., in Roseville.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
