LANSING, September 5, 2007 – An anonymous man has claimed a top Cashword prize of $35,000!

The winner told Lottery officials that he didn’t believe his luck after scratching the winning ticket and revealing the top prize!  He plans to pay bills with his prize money.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Wagon Wheel Market, 1270 Main Street, in Melvin.

Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
