LANSING, August 23, 2007 – A very lucky Grosse Pointe Woods woman has claimed a $10,000!  She scratched a winning $10,000,000 Game Book ticket to win the prize.

Olga Kaiafas said she was “shocked” with the win.  She hid the ticket in her bedroom and plans to spend her prize money on friends and family.

She purchased her lucky ticket at A&M Petro Service Inc., 8091 E. 8 Mile Rd., in Warren.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
