LANSING, August 22, 2007 – A big winner claimed $20,000 after she scratched a winning Lucky Times 12 Instant ticket.

The anonymous woman said she “couldn’t believe it” when she won.  She has no immediate plans for her prize money.

The winning ticket was purchased at Daily Deals Grocery Outlet, 3630 S. Cedar St., in Lansing.

Lucky Times 12 is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
