LANSING, August 22, 2007 – A very lucky Ypsilanti man has won $10,000 after he scratched a winning $10,000,000 Game Book Instant ticket.

Richard Hankenhof said he’s played the Lottery for ‘years’ and was surprised with the win.  He has no immediate plans for the prize money.

The winning ticket was purchased at Belleville Amoco, 10950 Belleville Rd., in Belleville.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
