LANSING, July 31, 2007 – A Grand Rapids man was very lucky on July 23! He won three different times on his 10-spot Club Keno ticket and won a whopping $25,014!
To get to the huge prize amount, he matched nine of 10 with a 5X Kicker; five of 10 with a 2X Kicker; and zero of 10 with a 4X Kicker to win the prize.
The lucky regular Club Keno player plans on using his own pick winnings to pay bills.
The anonymous man purchased his winning ticket at Northfield Lanes, 2222 Plainfield NE, in Grand Rapids.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
