Lansing woman wins $20,000

LANSING, July 20, 2007 – A very lucky Club Keno player won $20,000 when she matched eight of eight numbers.  The normal prize payout for matching all eight numbers in $10,000, but the lucky Lansing woman chose the Kicker options, which multiplied her prize by two!

The lucky anonymous woman learned of her good fortune after scanning her ticket at Bremmer’s Log Jam, 110 W. Jefferson, in Grand Ledge, where the player purchased the ticket.

The own pick numbers were picked from a non-winning instant ticket.  She plans to use the money to pay for her credit card bills and go on a “small shopping spree”.  In her free time, the 46-year-old bartender enjoys gambling, reading and viewing all sports.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
