LANSING, July 19, 2007 – A very lucky lady has claimed her half of the $436,052 jackpot from the July 16 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, won a whopping $218,026!

The longtime Lottery player said she saw her own pick numbers come up on the television and was “amazed”.

She and her husband have no immediate plans for the prize money.

The winning ticket was purchased at Harrand’s Market, 644 Alger St., in Owosso.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
