LANSING, July 17, 2007 – Lloyd Sosa was “surprised” when he realized his Fantasy 5 ticket was worth $105,000!

Sosa, who is an avid player, said his largest previous prize was $500. He asked his sister to hold his winning easy pick ticket until he cashed it in at the Lottery office in Lansing.

Even with his big win, the loyal player said he will keep playing the Lottery.

He purchased his winning ticket at Wayne Mart, 4502 S. Wayne Rd., in Wayne.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
