LANSING, July 16, 2007 – A. Radzio won huge on his Mega Millions ticket! The lucky Sterling Heights man matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number on July 6 to win a $10,000 prize. Radzio also won on three other lines on his ticket to bring his grand total to a whopping $10,310!

The regular Lottery player used his wife’s birthday as part of his own pick numbers. He plans to purchase a newer car for his wife with the prize money. In his free time, he enjoys tennis and reading.

Radzio purchased the lucky winning ticket at Sterling Palace Liquor, 42124 Van Dyke Ave., in Sterling Heights.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
