LANSING, July 13, 2007 – Joyce Jakee is a very lucky 71-year-old! She scratched a $10,000,000 Game Book ticket and revealed a $10,000 prize!

Jakee told Lottery officials in the Sterling Heights office that the win was “unbelievable”! The long time Lottery player has no immediate plans for her prize money.

The winning ticket was purchased at Port Austin Shell Service, 8490 Lake St., in Port Austin.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
