Imlay City winner cashes in

LANSING, July 5, 2007 – Dallas Hainds of Imlay City was “speechless” when he scratched a winning $10,000,000 Game Book Instant ticket.

Hainds scratched the ticket and checked it over three times before giving it to his wife to check. She started crying when she realized it was a big winner.

The lucky couple plan to use the prize money to pay bills. They enjoy outdoor activities, including camping, in their spare time.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Parsch’s Mobile, 314 E. Capac Rd., in Imlay City.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
