LANSING, June 29, 2007 – After playing the Lottery for nearly 35 years, a very lucky Saginaw man cashed in with a $250,000 Mega Millions win!

J. Perkins said he thought he was dreaming when he realized his June 26 own pick ticket was a big winner.  He plans to use some of the prize money to take a trip to see his mother.

He purchased his lucky ticket at Liquor Basket Party Store, 3581 Dixie Hwy., in Saginaw.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
