LANSING, June 26, 2007 – A very lucky man matched nine of 10 Club Keno numbers and bet $2 a draw to win a $10,000 prize!

Carl Castenholz hid the easy pick ticket in his pocket before redeeming it at the Lottery’s Wyoming office.  He plans to use the money for house payments and enjoys fishing in his free time.

The very lucky winner purchased his ticket at Ole Kelley’s Corner, 12058 Apple Ave., in Ravenna.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
