LANSING, June 26, 2007 – A very lucky mother and grandmother won a whopping $35,000!  The 38-year-old scratched a lucky Cashword ticket to win the prize!

The winner plans to pay some bills and fix her car with the prize money.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Harding’s Market, 618 N. Riverview Dr., in Parchment.

Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
