LANSING, June 22, 2007 – The Classic Lotto 47 jackpot is out of control!  Saturday’s jackpot is $11.5 million, the largest jackpot ever in the game’s history.

There were no tickets sold Wednesday that matched all six numbers, so the jackpot continues to grow!  Eighteen tickets were sold matching five of six numbers to win $2,500.

Wednesday’s winning numbers were 10-15-22-33-37-46. The next drawing is Saturday.

Classic Lotto 47 is a six-digit game drawn Wednesdays and Saturdays.  Jackpots begin at $1 million and increase by $100,000 in every drawing.

The previous record jackpot in Classic Lotto 47, which was launched May 15, 2005, was $7,691,973, won on October 18, 2006 by a player from Sterling Heights.

Classic Lotto 47 tickets can be purchased at any Lottery retailer and sales for Saturday night’s drawing will close at 7:08 p.m. on Wednesday.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
