Grand Rapids man wins big

LANSING, June 21, 2007 – A Cashword ticket proved to be a big winner for one lucky Grand Rapids man.

The 28-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed $35,000!

The lucky man said he plans to use the prize money to pay bills.

The winning ticket was purchased at Rich Oil, 3155 S. Division Ave., in Grand Rapids.

Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
