LANSING, June 21, 2007 – A very lucky player had trouble believing his eyes when he scratched a winning $10,000,000 Game Book ticket worth $10,000!

The Sterling Heights winner hid the ticket in his pocket before claiming his prize at the Lottery office in Sterling Heights.  He plans to use the money to pay off his car.

Roger Sebastian purchased his winning ticket at Desperado’s, 165 N. Gratiot, in Mt. Clemens.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
