LANSING, June 7, 2007 – A very lucky Detroit winner has claimed her share of the June 2 Fantasy 5 prize, a whopping $66,451!

The anonymous winner won when she matched all five numbers in the drawing.  She used her mother’s Lottery numbers to choose her “own pick” numbers.

She plans to use the prize money for home improvements.  The lucky ticket was purchased at Smoky’s of Livonia, 16705 Middlebelt Rd., in Livonia.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
