Canton man cashes in

LANSING, May 29, 2007 – A 22-year-old man was lucky when he scratched a $10,000,000 Game Book ticket and won $10,000!

Brandon Wojciechowski of Canton said he hid the winning ticket in his room before claiming his prize at the Lottery office in Dearborn Heights.

The winner said he plans to use the prize money to pay for school; he enjoys sports, coaching, golfing, hunting and fishing in his spare time.

He purchased the lucky ticket at Plymouth Super Center, 400 Ann Arbor Rd., in Plymouth.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
