LANSING, May 21, 2007 – A very lucky player was “stunned” when she scratched a winning $10,000,000 Game Book ticket and won $10,000!
Allison Garrison, who said she’ll use her prize money to buy her husband a car, is a regular Lottery player. She has been playing for about 20 years.
The winning ticket was purchased at Corner Grocery, 339 Fairbanks St., in Marine City.
$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
