LANSING, May 21, 2007 – A very lucky longtime Lottery player really cashed in when he scratched a winning Detroit Tigers Instant ticket worth $100,000!
Bernard Blaskowski’s winning ticket was a birthday gift from his son who purchased the ticket at Mackinaw E-Z Mart, 302 N. Nicolet St., in Mackinaw City.
The lucky winner said he plans to use his prize money to buy his wife a new car and purchase a new furnace for their home.
Detroit Tigers is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
