Big win for Grand Rapids student

LANSING, May 21, 2007 – A 21-year-old student “didn’t believe it” when she scratched a winning $10,000,000 Game Book and won $10,000!

R. Hall claimed her ticket right away at the Lottery office in Wyoming and plans to use the money to pay for student loans.

She purchased the lucky winning ticket at Carrieville Store LLC, 3038 N. Kings Hwy., in Luther.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
