LANSING, May 21, 2007 – A very lucky regular Lottery player scratched his way to a $10,000 second-tier prize on the Lottery’s $10,000,000 Game Book Instant game.

Richard Walker told Lottery officials that he “didn’t believe it” when he learned of his good fortune. 

The lucky winner plans to pay bills, go out to dinner and play Club Keno with his prize money.

Walker purchased the lucky winning ticket at Cracker Barrel General Store, 5500 Oak Hill Rd., in Clarkston.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
