Shelby Twp. man is now a millionaire

LANSING, May 15, 2007 – An anonymous regular Lottery player hit it big when he scratched his $1 million Casino Craze Instant ticket!  The lucky man discovered he won the top $1 million prize!

The win didn’t sink in until the man called the Lottery office and they confirmed that he really was a millionaire!  He plans to remodel his kitchen and save the rest of the money for retirement.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Kroger, 2058 25 Mile Rd., in Shelby Twp.

$1 million Casino Craze is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
