SOLD OUT! Super Raffle tickets gone in less than three days!

LANSING, May 9, 2007 – The 250,000 Super Raffle tickets, which went on sale Monday at 6 am, have sold out!

“The response to the game has been amazing, we could not have anticipated how quickly the tickets would sell out,” said Lottery Commissioner Gary Peters.

Players who purchased a Super Raffle ticket should keep their ticket until the drawing on June 18 when two prizes of $2 million, 25 prizes of $100,000, and 4,500 of $500 will be awarded.  The original ticket must be presented in order to claim a prize.

Players who win prizes of $2 million or $100,000 must call the Lottery Public Relations office at (517) 373-1237 to schedule an appointment.

The Super Raffle sold only 250,000 tickets for $50 each.

Super Raffle will not take the place of Millionaire Raffle; the next Millionaire Raffle game is expected to be launched in the fall.

The two $2 million winning numbers will be displayed during the Lottery’s evening broadcast on June 18.  Players will be able to check all winning numbers at the Lottery’s Web site on https://www.michiganlottery.com/, at Lottery retailers or at Lottery regional offices throughout the state.

All proceeds from the Super Raffle, as well as from all other Lottery games, are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
