LANSING, May 9, 2007 – A very lucky lady is $339,804 richer after she matched all five numbers in the April 23 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The winner, who chose anonymity, said she plays the Lottery regularly and enjoys several Lottery games.  She watched the live drawing on television and had to call her sister-in-law to double check that she’d seen the numbers correctly.

She was “shocked” at the win.  She plans to put her money away for a while. 

The winning ticket was purchased at Marathon Gas Station, 50901 Gratiot Ave., in Chesterfield.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
